Trooper Fred Cornett is investigating a collision that occurred Tuesday evening at 5:10 pm two miles North of Lebanon at the junction of KY 49 and Toad Mattingly Rd.
Joseph B. Blandford, age 17 of Campbellsville was traveling South on KY 49 in a 1993 Nissan truck when he struck the back of a 2009 KIA being operated by Amanda L. Chumley, age 21 of Stamping Grounds KY. Chumley was attempting to turn onto Toad Mattingly Road when her vehicle was knocked into a 2004 KIA being operated by Stacey R. Stout, age 38 of Lebanon. Stout was stopped at the end of Toad Mattingly Road waiting to turn.
Blandford was treated and released from Springview Hospital. Chumley , a passenger in her vehicle, Saralyn Hite, age 32 of Gracey KY, Stout, and a passenger in her vehicle, Marley Stout, 1 yr old of Lebanon, (child restraint in use), were not injured. All occupants were wearing a seat belt.
Trooper Cornett was assisted at the scene by Marion County EMS and Marion County Rescue.
(MARION COUNTY, KY) – Trooper Ricky Underwood is investigating a collision that occurred 08/05/10 at approximately 4:20 p.m., 4 miles West of Lebanon on US68. The collision occurred when a 1988 Chevy, operated by Samuel Wheatley, age 35, of Lebanon, was traveling westbound on US68 and slowed to make a left hand turn into a parking lot and was struck in the rear by a 2000 Hyundai, operated by Kenneth Mitchell, age 59, of Campbellsville. Wheatley and a passenger, Chad Spalding, age 36, of Lebanon, were both belted and uninjured in the collision. Mitchell was not belted and was transported to the Spring View Hospital where he was treated and released for his injuries. Trooper Underwood was assisted at the scene by Marion County EMS and Marion County Rescue.
A collision occurred on Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 9:45 pm on KY 84. Raymond Dillingham age 45 of Columbia was operating a 1976 Kawasaki Motorcycle eastbound when he lost control of the motorcycle and overturned. Dillingham was transported to Springview Hospital and then flown to U of L for treatment of non life threatening injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor. Trooper Donnie Moses is investigating.
Joseph Brady (age 46) of Lebanon
On July 25, 2010 Kentucky State Police responded to 1495 McElory Pike in Marion County in reference to a shots fired complaint. Upon arriving at the scene, Trooper John Adams was able to make contact with Joseph Brady (age 46) of Lebanon. Through investigation, it was discovered that Mr. Brady had been armed with a shotgun and been involved in an altercation with a family member. Mr. Brady was subsequently arrested by Trooper Adams for (Attempted) Murder and lodged in the Marion County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Adams.
Trooper David Smith is investigating a fatal collision that occurred July, 24th at approximately 10:30 am on KY Hwy 208, 2 miles west of Lebanon. Jerry Sallee, 53 years of age, of Lebanon was operating a 1981 Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on KY Hwy 208. The motorcycle dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway, striking a guardrail before overturning. Sallee was pronounced deceased at Spring View Hospital.
