A collision occurred on Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 9:45 pm on KY 84. Raymond Dillingham age 45 of Columbia was operating a 1976 Kawasaki Motorcycle eastbound when he lost control of the motorcycle and overturned. Dillingham was transported to Springview Hospital and then flown to U of L for treatment of non life threatening injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor. On July 25, 2010 Kentucky State Police responded to 1495 McElory Pike in Marion County in reference to a shots fired complaint. Upon arriving at the scene, Trooper John Adams was able to make contact with Joseph Brady (age 46) of Lebanon. Through investigation, it was discovered that Mr. Brady had been armed with a shotgun and been involved in an altercation with a family member. Mr. Brady was subsequently arrested by Trooper Adams for (Attempted) Murder and lodged in the Marion County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Adams.Read More
Trooper David Smith is investigating a fatal collision that occurred July, 24th at approximately 10:30 am on KY Hwy 208, 2 miles west of Lebanon. Jerry Sallee, 53 years of age, of Lebanon was operating a 1981 Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on KY Hwy 208. The motorcycle dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway, striking a guardrail before overturning. Sallee was pronounced deceased at Spring View Hospital.Read More
Trooper John Boyd is investigating a one vehicle injury collision that occurred at 1142 a.m. on Ky 527 one mile South of Holy Cross. Angela Livers age 17 of Loretto was operating a 98 Ford pick-up Northbound on Ky 527 when she dropped of the shoulder of the roadway, Vehicle then left the roadway and struck an embankment. Livers was belted and was treated and released at Springview Medical Center in Lebanon.

(Loretto KY) The Kentucky Police have apprehended an Escapee from the Marion County Adjustment Center. At approximately 8:31pm on 7/02/2010 Parker Perdue age 31 of Edmonton was reportedly in the Loretto area wearing an inmate uniform. Troopers Ricky Underwood and Donnie Moses responded to the area but were unable to locate Mr. Perdue. At approximately 9:32 pm Trooper Underwood observed a vehicle traveling in the Loretto area with the operator of the vehicle matching the physical description of Mr. Perdue. Trooper Underwood apprehended Mr. Purdue following a short vehicle pursuit on A. Mills Rd in Loretto. Mr. Perdue was operating a vehicle that had been recently stolen from the Loretto area. Mr. Purdue has been lodged in the Marion County Detention Center.
